Mike Johnson
Advanced Personal Trainer and Nutritional Advisor I am the founder of Johnson's Family Fitness, previously known as Johnson's PTS. With more than 20 years experience in weight training and sports nutrition, I am blessed and fortunate to have been a part of some wonderful transformations from injury rehabilitation to weight loss, with people of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about the exploration of 3D movement, rehabilitation and performance. There are so many fantastic and interesting tools around to aid us in our goals of gaining greater wellbeing and fitness. If an exercise challenges my movement skills, mental and physical strength then I'm happier than a pig in mud! I have been a qualified personal trainer for over 12 years now. In January 2023 I officially became a certified Gray Institute GIFT Fellow of Applied Functional Science, encouraging transformation through function. It took me a year of studying to complete this internationally renowned course and I enjoyed every minute of it! I now include my new found knowledge into my Personal Training sessions for all clients to benefit from. |
Alice Johnson
Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist Admin Assistant and Bookings Co-Ordinator I have been involved with Johnson's Family Fitness from the very start, alongside Mike. I used to compete in swimming at a high standard and spent a lot of my time in the pool as well as in the gym, for land based training. I became a Beauty Therapist in my late teens, but my career path changed and I became a self employed Swimming Teacher. I was teaching 1:1 and group lessons for adults and children for many years. I am now a qualified and insured Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist. Alongside this I help Mike with admin work and organising the bookings in the diary. In the near future I plan to expand my knowledge and become qualified in more holistic therapies. |
