Ok so firstly my face in the pic isn't selling it but this is defo the best tasting smoothie I've made yet!
I'm a sucker for home made apple pie so this little experiment was a success. The spice really gives it a dare I say it, a Christmas taste. You know when you get the mulled wine out for a cheeky winter warmer?
I have a weird drinking technique where I tend to gozzle too much in one go, so I hold the drink in my mouth for a second helping as if I was a posh cave man. It drives my wife mad! But I believe your taste buds get a chance to appreciate the blend!
This sweet little number has a fantastic balance of fats, carbs and proteins! The water allows all the ingredients to blend well but helps keep a decent smooth creamy texture. I recommend you dice the apples well or you may have chunky bits.

Todays already made shop smoothies tend to be a little on the carb heavy side so we decided to make our own. You can't beat your own!

Here's the recipe
1 apple diced up
1/2 cup of full fat yoghurt
1/4 cup of water
1/4 tea spoon of vanilla extract
1 table spoon of honey
1/4 tea spoon of cinnamon
Pinch of allspice
Pinch of nutmeg
