Big improvements! Two weeks ago I was fragile and delicate. I can thank my coach Phil, wife Alice and old oak cricket stump for getting me to this point of conditioning. Every day I get hit by a solid cricket stump to the weaker areas of my body to toughen up. It paid off! I felt almost invincible.

I had a mind battle during the week as my lifestyle got messy with excess office work. Yukky horrible inactivity. My body didn't feel ready. I always like to get plenty of hardcore kickboxing focused fitness sessions in before my Saturday morning beastings with my coach Phil. It prepares me mentally. Gives me that edge. Tough! I had two choices. Back out of the session or go and no matter what give it my best.
You see to me kickboxing represents my battle in the business world. It's physically and mentally exhausting and scares me when I get pushed to the edge. When you get pushed to the edge you just want to quit, hide away from the world, give up on your dreams.
Fighting to survive is painful but when you show up no matter what week in and week out and grasp every lesson you can it's amazing how you start to shift to the other side of living. My body and mind have become tougher and my ability to attack with CONTROLLED aggression and skill grow. The day I stop fighting is the day I don't want to live anymore. Because life is like a constant fight. The truth is the worlds always going to be a mess so there will always be something to fight for. When I talk about fighting I don't mean beating people up I mean learning to overcome and achieve your distant dreams. If you have a dream show up and grasp every lesson you can. Never let pain win!
