Your lifestyle is the key to over achieving, achieving or under achieving your dreams, goals or visions.
Your body responds to it's environment and gradually adapts to meet your survival demands.
Survival to thrival! You adapt to overcome. You don't have much choice. It's a case of do or die.
Actions not words dictate who you are. The most incredible athletes in the world that you see or don't see in this interesting example are made by their living. The hidden running tribe known as the Tarahumara people are the most inspiring ultra distance athletes. Age knows no bounds. Guys in their 60's racking up your run of the mill average 200 milers in 48 hour runs each session. "The Tarahumara record is a continuous 700km in just over 48 hours — 16 times further than a marathon! Running is an integral part of this tribe's culture, and they all do it — men, women, children, young, old.
Is it hereditary? Apparently not entirely!!!! It's to do with their life's demands.
The Tarahumara commonly hunt with bow and arrows, but are also known for their ability to run down deer and wild turkeys. Anthropologist Jonathan Cassel describes the Tarahumaras’ hunting abilities: “The Tarahumara literally run the birds to death. Forced into a rapid series of takeoffs, without sufficient rest periods between, the heavy-bodied bird does not have the strength to fly or run away from the Tarahumara hunter," Jonathon Cassel (1969), Tarahumara Indians. I found this on Wikipedia! To learn more about these people, if you're a running enthusiast, I do recommend buying Born to Run by Chris McDougall.
Anyway, we could go on forever labelling examples of the worlds most inspiring living people. But lets focus on the one reading this now. YOU!
